Thank you Pinterest for consuming so much of my time! I love you though, I really do. It’s because of you I’ve found so many (too many really) things that I want to do, make, bake, clean, plant, frame, paint, up-cycle, etc. And as I do my darnedest to do that list above, I’ll share here (or on my recipe blogin which I’ll try to remember to share a link to from here).
First up… DIY Dry Erase Boards. Or, I was given, found, have a cool frame with glass but don’t have a picture to put in it and still want to use it for some purpose.
What to use:
Frame with glass – 8×10 or larger is best
Scrapbook paper, fabric, or other medium
optional: spray paint to paint frame
dry erase marker
Here’s how I did it:
1. Find yourself a picture frame. Size doesn’t matter, but 8×10 or larger is better. Disassemble.
2. Prime and/or spray paint the frame whatever color you want.
3. While the paint is drying, cut your framed material to size. I used the glass as the guide.
4. Put it all back together. And tada!
Use a dry erase marker to write on the glass. And that took care of 5 Christmas gifts!
