Hot August Nights – sailing style

Back in August we, as a family…kinda… went up to the Stockton Sail Club for their Hot August Nights.  Then we went on a sunset sail.  The clouds…OMG!  They were phenomenal!  A storm was rolling in, or out I can’t remember, so they were big and billow-y, and pillow-y, and pink!  Just wait, you’ll see.  🙂

Dad and Stephen drove up in the Tiger, and enter it into the competition.  It didn’t win… 🙁 but it was still fun to see it all shined up and people admiring it!

Oh you know, just some random HUGE house on the delta… no big deal.

Random boat pieces and parts.  I just might have some printed onto canvases for Titus’ nautical themed nursery…

Being that the delta is a channel, or many channels, of water leading in from the Bay, there are some big shipping boats that come in during high tide.  Like this monstrosity.

We went just about to I-5 then turned around (see bottom picture).

Then we cruised our way back to the marina and headed home for the night.  Needless to say it was a good night!
